I really like assesors. I had a blue one a several years ago. I now have the largest tank I have ever had. It is 180 gal. I wiould love to have more than 1 assesor, but I know males dont get along. Is there a way to sex them? I would love to have 4-6. The rest of the tank is primarily flasher and fairy wrasses. 1 tang, and a pair of percs and a pair of firefish, so it is a peaceful tank.

I don't know of any way to sex them if they're not already paired up. They do tend to be aggressive among themselves.

I have two yellows and they get along fine --even hanging out around the around the same rock. Of course, who knows what sex they are. Very peaceful in the tank.

I've seen it go both ways. Sometimes it works, but sometimes one overwhelms the other; and it's typically the yellow that is the aggressor.
