Assigning plugs on DC8 to devices

I am setting up my AC Jr. for the first time. I have read thru both manuals and I cannot find anywhere that explains how to assign the plugs on the DC8 to a device. For example i'm trying to use the temp control. I have my heater plugged into outlet 5 from the manual. I have the manual setting to auto, and have this statement:

If temp < 78
then HTR ON
If temp >78.5
then HTR OFF

and have the timer on. Where can i assign outlet 5 to my heater?

On the DC8 you can choose the home address with the switches as well as the ranges (1-8 or 9-16). Say your DC8 is set to A1-8, your heater should be at address A05 if it is plugged to the fifth outlet (2nd row, 1st outlet).

In the timer settings, name your heater timer "HTR%-A05". It should now be assigned to the fifth outlet on that DC8.
