I am looking at my seahorse and the male is acting weird. It would float in the water and it would swim weirdly as in upside down, spinning, etc. He always has a pinched stomach compare to the other one.

I feed it a lot and I have nver really experienced this before. It still eats and stuff..

so what can be wrong and what can i do? I don't think its a bubble stuck in the pouch, but thats always a possibility.

It sounds like he's got air somewhere. If it's not in the pouch, it could be Internal Gas Bubble Disease or he could have bubbles under his skin (External Gas Bubble Disease).
Does he look bloated at all? Tail look swollen overall? Can you see any bumps on his skin (particularly his tail)?

it looks like his pouch is bloated, but i tried burping it and its didn't like it.

There doesn't seem to be any swelling anywhere else. Will it heal on its own or do I have to keep trying to burp it?

I've never heard of a bloated pouch clearing itself. You will just have to keep trying until he relaxes enough to let the air out.

Can you post a pic, so we can make sure that is actually the problem?

Your seahorse needs to be treated with Diamox (acetazolamide). You can find more information about doses and procedures on seahorse.org, syngnathid.org or seahorse.com.

Diamox is a prescribed drug. You will have to get it from your Vet. Seahorse.org has a paper you can print and take to the vet that explains why you need it. That was the only way I could get it locally. It can be ordered online but sometimes it doesn't make it through customs:( . Do a search for diamox and a few listing will pop up to order it.
