Atlanta Area LFS

Mako Shark II

Fish are Friends not Food
I'm planning a trip to ATL and looking for some good quality LFS in the Buckhead, Alpharetta, and northern Gainsville area's.

I know MACNA was down there, but what about LFS's??

marty,

The company I work for has their executive offices in Atlanta so I am there quite a bit. I was very impressed with Creation Reef and Aquatics. They have some really cool tanks as well as a sting ray lagoon.

Thanks Tyson. How's Flying these days. You okay over there? I know we're not hiring Pilots right now.

I'm making it... Haven't flown in over three weeks. I do have a trip to Atlanta Monday though, so that's a good sign. Hopefully I'll be able to hang in there without being canned. The company is making money, but with the negative attention from the media/govt to corporate flight departments, I don't think any corp job is safe.

let me know what you think about the LFS

Well, to Aviation, the Media is the biggest bunch of sensationalist morons known to man. They understand nothing, jump to every possible conclusion first, promote fear to an ignorant public, then never capitulate or retract the errors they report, manifested in their own ignorance. They're pathetic at reporting on most everything that flies without feathers.
(Except for the Weather guy in Chicago, who was an ex-American pilot. HE was cool.)

Not that I have an opinion or anything. Have you seen the newer Citation Ads? They target the media in a brilliant counter-campaign PRO Business Aviation. Oh Cool! I just found it:

Wonder if the media Understands anything about Essential Air Service, and what happens when our Federal Government cuts funding to small airports, leaving the public with no lift, while the media spews their garbage about Corporate Aviation.

You HANG in their pal. Corporate Aviation is the ONLY way to travel. It's Vital.

When I get to ATL, I'll look them up.
