Atlanta Trip Report

Mako Shark II

Fish are Friends not Food
I'm baaack from ATL. Trip report:

I only found one available when I was there, mainly due to limited time, but I was impressed. (Not with their prices though.)

Marine Fish in Marietta had a good selection and their SALE prices were okay, but as a rule, I found them to be high. Nice stuff though. Good selection.

Fish Store and more, was out of business.

I wish I had more time for reefing while there, but that wasn't my primary mission.

Next time........

Next time you will have to come see me. We are looking at the Marietta, Alpharetta, and Kennesaw areas. There is a very large and active reef club in Atlanta as well

nope. Might not be in the cards for me on the 650. I did find out last week that I'm going to be going to school on the Challenger 604. It should be a piece of cake since I flew the CL-65 for three years and they are essentially the same aircraft with the 604 having a lot longer range than the RJ.

Sorry to hear you didnt have alot of time for the world greatest hobby, but at least you went to one of or best but very expensive stores. You need to check out Marine design and Wharehouse Aquarium for a few less exspensive prices but high end quality pieces.

To be honest with you as a member of the Atlanta Reef Club we do alot of trading right in our club and selling of course. We always have an array of high end frags for sale, but most of all its the dedication our members have for the club and other members and friends.

Maybe nest time you will have someextra time. You should check us out at www.atlantareefclub.org and happy reefing.

+1

Maybe next time your down here you could check out one of the club meetings and introduce yourself. ARC has a great bunch people in it.

ATL - Awesome! Thanks lads.

Tyson - Congreats mate! That's good news! (And nobody said our CRJ's had legs. The emphasis there, is "Regional", unlike the Challenger "Globals", or the 604's.)

Of course, schlepping 90 fat-butts around has a little something to due with Fuel Burn....along with a Max take-off weight of 80,500 pounds!

Yeah, should work out ok. I'm just not wild about 3 weeks of school. That part sux. BTW... There is no comparing the CRJ to the ERJ, at least the 135/145. They are not even in the same class. The CRJ is built like a tank and the ERJ seems cheaply made to me. Just my opinion

Goes without saying.... The Brazilians built themselves a Disposable jet (Ha! "Disposable" @ only $15,000,000 a copy!)

The Canucks on the other hand, are used to beating up their equipment...AND going FAST!

Ski-Doos!
SEA-Doos! (People sometimes call them "Jet-Ski's")
Trains!!!
LearJets!!!!

Gotta Love Bombardier! Here's what $28,000,000. will get you:
