Atlantis Pink Polyp monti

Anybody have a full shot of this coral. Ive seen nothing but macro pictures of this coral and I would like to see the growth pattern on a full grown one. Thanks guys

Well they have that reddish pink hue but they aren't very bright pink, more of a reddish color than a pink IMO... who knows maybe I have the crappy eyesight, if it's genetic I might! (My dad has the worst sense of color out there... but that might be a style thing not color)

The color that I see in person is just like in the pic, at least on my monitor.

Looks pink to me. Maybe that's why you keep sending your medium steak back to the kitchen cause you think it is rare! :)

Well without hijacking this thread(too much*grin*), here's a piece I have been resurrecting, and this is what I lay the baseline as "pink" polyps (also rim)

Btw I'm not dissing the piece at all whatever color you (or I) might see. Tried the color blind test saw everything no problem, and I like my steaks well done or medium well at the least :D

Colors could appear as different shades on different monitors, which is why I mentioned the color was correct on my own monitor.
My colony and frags and also Atlantis's colony (seen in person) all have pink polyps, at least to my eyes, and no I'm not color blind. My pic was taken under a 14k Phoenix btw.
IMHO it doesn't really matter; red or pink, either way it's a beautiful piece. :)

computer monitors vary in color and windows add to this. Everything looks really dark on a windows computer. Most people use cheap $100 monitors and wonder why their colors are off.

Those polyps are definitely pink on my Mac with a color calibrated monitor.

I have sent people art before that had a pms 485 color in the art which is scarlet red for those who don't know and had a customer tell me to replace that light orange with a bright red and I couldn't get it through to them that it was red and their monitor was the problem.

Pink is basically varying degrees of magenta. There are thousands of shades of pink.

For instance, all of these colors are considered pink

Everything between 10 and 13 is considered pink in this color wheel.
