Ato container pump

I have a 15gal HDPE container I got from work. It has a 2 1/4" hole on the top and a 3/4" hole. Anyone know a pump that will fit through the 2" hole? I have some bulk heads I could use for an external or cut a hole in the top and then re seal, bit would rather not. Let me know what you think. I am going to plumb a 3/8" poly line to my tank. This is to replace the 5 gal container next to the tank.

The Tunze ATO pump should fit, and I can attest to it reliability. The only thing is; none of the 1/4" OD tubing from a hardware store fits properly. I had to order the 'black' Tunze tubing.

Nothing slightly oversized tube and a zip tie can't fix ;)

If you want something super reliable and low flow you can go with a peristaltic dosing pump. For an ATO I always recommend a dosing pump for those reasons above. I've had mine for 12 years and have never had to do anything to maintain it. Plus, for an ATO you only need low flow and it's probably safer that it's low flow in case a float or sensor malfunctions.
