ATO recomendation

Tunze Osmolator. I've never looked back. Plus their customer service is one of the best in the business so any problems are solved quickly.

Tunze Osmolator - mine is 10+ years old and still working. I heard that the new ones are not as good though.

I use the system from Spectrapure. I think they just introduced a new one. System works great.

+1

I have the previous Spectrapure model and is very solid, never had an issue. If your water source is far away this is the one to get. The only issue was the suction cup that held the pressure tube would come off if you didn't secure it with a dab of silicone. I siliconed mine to a Tunze magnet

I am using a mag clip to keep mine in place. The new one has a magnetic holder and has more programming options to control the flow. I use mine with kalk water and you don't have to worry if your bucket runs dry. I have mine set to the minimum so that my sump level stays rock solid.

I have the new Spectrapure ATO w/magnet holder and it is rock steady and works great. My buddies are trying to order one but they have been out of stock.

Any issues with loosing a prime for pump?

With the Spectrapure system no issues. It can run dry without any issues. When you add water back in your bucket, you don't need to prime it. In fact the bucket can be 25' below the pump and it can pump 60' away from the pump. You can also pump vertically from the pump.

This makes a huge difference for those of us who have primed pumps in the past.

Noticed you are from Loveland, CO. I use to live there for 15 years. I lived at the end of 402 in the foothills. Living in AZ now. Actually I am in Denver for a few days, my youngest son just got married in Boulder yesterday.

Woah small world! My firm is in Boulder and I live in Loveland. The dirt road at the west end of 402 is very familiar to me. Great friend grew up on it. Their last name is Carpenter.

I built 2 houses in the development to the south, right before the road turns to gravel. One was the house at the very top of Panoramic Drive. Worked for HP in Greeley and Loveland. Also lived out in Masonville. Would have moved back there, but I wanted warmer winters.
