Attaching coral to LR

How about that! Sorry. I guess we all missed answering at first in favor of better methods. Let us know how you did with the aquamending.

I use super glue ...
I couldnt find the gel, they where sold out of it.

The super glue works fine, just kinda hard to get it to past up like we like.

So i did it in layers, worked great and the coral are doing great now.

oh and the super glue (non gel) runs .... a lot, fyi

I use a carbide drill bit to make small "wells" in whatever I attach frags to. Really only needs to be a small depression. I keep a bunch of different size "collars" handy that will surround the disc, plug, rock, or tile squares. The collars are just various size pieces of pvc pipe and vynil tubing. I just put a dab of glue in the well, sit it inside the collar, drop the frag into the well, and let it sit in a container of tank water until it sets. Using the right size collar will keep the frag erect on the plug. Eliminates whatever type glue you use from running, and you don't have to hold the frag in place until the glue sets.

I am glad you think so..................I felt kind of dumb asking the initial question.

I am glad I did though...........I have learned a lot in this thread!!!

When the knowledge isn't there, it's not called a dumb question. It's idiots who make them feel dumb for asking them.
