Attaching zooanthids

hi!
I have a few "eyes" of zooanthids that dettached itself from a bigger rock full of them when I moved them arround.
Can I glue them somehow to another rock ? Can I use superglue ?

yep you can use superglue.. just dry off a spot in a small rock or frag plug, add drip of superglue and place the zoa on the glue. I like to use a large pair of tweezers to grab the zoa so my wet fingers aren't dripping on the wet glue. The glued zoa can go straight back into the tank with no repercussions..now get fragging....

What if you wanted to glue the zoa onto a rock that was part of the entire reefscape and couldn't be removed...could you use gel superglue to attach it directly to a rock that is underwater in the tank?

Just did that and worked perfectly !
Thanks

PS- can I use the superglue gel to attach in the same manner a ricordea ?

I think mushrooms are a bit different because they're slimy. most put some netting (such as bridal veil material) around the mushroom and a rock so the mushroom can attach itself.

Thanks for the info w/the zoa's, I would like to move some of my polyps to other rocks to create a mixed colony rock.

Mushrooms/Rics I have attached several times now using super glue(it's not easy, slime), rubber bands, mushroom just set on rock in a glass, tying them on w/fishing line, and by far the easiest method for me is to place on a rock and loosely cover w/netting. I actually have one shroom and 2 nice green paly's under netting right now.
