The Gold Coast Aquarium Society (a freshwater club) will be holding its first annual Freshwater Aquarium Expo the first weekend in April at Flamingo Gardens. We would like to offer a free table to FMAS in order to promote your club. If there is interest, I need to get in touch with an official representative (BOD etc...) of FMAS to get them all the information and work out the details.

Hey Rogger, if you go to the Fresh water aquarium wxpo...let me know I'd be interested in going.

The expo will be the first weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in April. The expo is free with reduced park admission (I believe $14). Saturday will have hourly silent auctions, games for kids, and several speakers. Sunday will have a Betta auction as well as several speakers.

We are also planing to have several vendor tables with items (live and dry) for purchase including a "garage sale" type area for used equipment. this will be our first show, and will have a primarily educational focus. in the future we plan to have more of a "Fish Show" focus with judging in several classes.

I will be happy to post a formal announcement on this forum if there is interest and no conflicts with reef central / FMAS policies.

And again, any and all FMAS members are welcome to join us for meetings and events.
