Auction News

For those who may not have checked the official thread here:http://fragguy1.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=meetnews&action=display&thread=1183941275

Please make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules prior to participating in the event.

1. Do not bring micro frags, 1/4 " will be the smallest of any frag.
2. Soft coral frags must be healthy and attached to a plug or rock to be considered for auction. Do not just go crazy cutting off frags the night before.
3. There will be a 10% commission which will be used to pay the auctioneer (they are not free), the remaining money will be used to supply the next meeting.
4. We ask that you bring no more than a total of 10 frags each for the auction, you can still set up and sell at your table as many as you like.
5. No Checks or Credit cards, cash only, there is an ATM conveniently located next door across the street.
6. You must label your coral with the following information prior to showing up;
Coral name, lighting, example (150 DE, 165 PC, etc) , The words "seller" with a blank, (Staff will write your member Number on the bag at the door.) and the word "Buyer" which will be filled out at the close of a sale by the staff. Winning Price will be written on the bag itself in permanent marker.

7. If you wish to participate in the auction you are strongly encouraged to help with the event. We will require at least 2 members to help with registration at the door. We will also need several volunteers to help with the coral placement and filing and security over the frags.

Be sure to check for more updates on the official thread link above.
I will not be posting further rules here as I can not modify or add to them as need be. You can however respond and ask questions here.
