What is the consesus on lighting / placement on these? Also if you can point me to a vendor / person I am in the market for a small colony (4-5 polyps) that is above average in coloration. Thanks!

I keep mine in the center of my tank under a 250w MH. Low to Med Flow.

I saw their site. They have some nice ones but I am holding out for something insanely nice.

I keep them in very low lighting at first. After a week or so I up the lighting from just PC's to PC's with 175w halides. I keep them towards the bottom of the tank.

I've been experimenting with one morph. I have a piece of it under a ledge in the tank described above, and a piece under a single 400w halide, 10" from the surface.
Both pieces are surviving, but there color is changing. I can't tell which one I like more. The piece in the dark has kept it's pink ring, but the center looks pale. The piece in the bright tank still has some pink ring, but the center has turned a baby blue. Also, the outer parts of the polyp look darker.

I'll try to get some pics of the two pieces.

I would go with low placement and halides.

Here's the two different pieces. I put one under 400w 12K Reeflux in a shallow 10" tall tank for about a month. The other was put in the shade on the bottom of a 125, under some eggcrate. That tank is lit with 175 12K ReefLux bulbs and a couple 96 Blue PC's.

Here they are after almost 6 weeks.
