Ive heard Litermeter is the best (around $300ish), but you could also go aqualifter pump and a float valve (about $50)

I use the Deluxe DIY Auto Topoff kit from Premium Aquatics. It's around $50. It has a main float switch, back-up float switch, and reservoir float switch. I really like it.

i've been using the double switch one from autotopoff.com for over a year with no complaints.

I also went with the double switch.

I use the Tunze--best thing I ever bought for my tank. the water level never varies like I use to get with a float switch.
