I have the JBJ ATO and I've had no problems with it. Cost is good

I just bought the JBJ, but dont have it in use yet. I was playing with it the other night, I had a lamp plugged into it instead of a pump and i was dipping the sensors into and out of a drum of water, and it seemed like there was a few seconds of delay b/n when the sensors told the chip to cut power to the pump (lamp) and when it actually shut off. This seems kind of scary to me. Im not sure if it is normal, or it is a problem waiting to happen.Right now it is between 3 and 5 seconds of delay, but im afraid it might turn to 10 seconds, then 20, etc. until my system is wiped out and my basement floods. Im not convinced the JBJ is the way to go. Just my opinion maybe someone else who has more experience with this unit could tell me if it is normal or not?

ncox38. I've come to understand that you are a worrier. It's not a bad thing though and you should question things the way you do. I don't think that the JBJ system would start delaying longer and longer with time. I think that's the way it is set up. It most likely has the same delay from start to finish. Howver you could post a thread about it and see what others say that own them. Try RC's equiment and filteration forum.
