I have a couple medical grade dosing pumps and am thinking about setting up a auto changer basically one that siphons 2 gallons out per day (and about 24 small intervals per day) and one to pump back in. sounds simple right? well I have a few concerns.
1. what if I run out of saltwater in the reservoir. is there a safety switch i could put in that would shut both pumps off it the holding tank went empty?
2. I have a auto top off for freshwater as well. I am hoping that since the change amount is so small that it wouldn't effect the auto top off at all but I guess it could.
3. what if for some reason one pump malfunctions would it even matter if I topped off with two gallons of saltwater in a day or an extra 2 gallons of ro in a 300 gallon system?
