Great vid. As someone who has kept several species of octo I can first hand tell you that the color and texture changes are just amazing. Some species do this much more then others and most octos that are kept in the hobby are nocturnal or diurnal meaning they are out hunting and sunrise and sunset. They all have very short life spans which is the hardest thing to deal with. The larger species live longer but even the Giant Pacific octo only lives 4 years birth to death and the ones we as hobbiest keep normally 10-18 months birth to death. IMO they are still fantastic creatures in a home aquarium and we all know how smart they are. when they are comfortable with there new home they can be quite playfull and need something to do or they get board and thats when they become escape artists
