Azzzzz, I would love to snag a baby from that pink/red one day )

Nice as always

Sure thing....Once it lays down some you will be first on the list bro....

I really like the color morphs and rics that you got, they are beautiful. One thing though, I don't really like the setup of the rics. Trying to go for a valley? kind of looks likes its unorganized. just my opinion.

No worries bro all opinions welcome. I am sure it will change again as it has 3 times already....Yumas will have to stay where they are at since they are opening and looking fabulous. I will add some more Florida rics, a few yumas then I will be done. Mostly they were placed where the little rubble they are on would fit safely and they wouldn't open up and smother each other.....But like I said I am sure I will change it around a bit.....

That is sweet. I am hoping one day I will have enough rics to cover a section of my tank. I just ordered 3 of the 14 packs from coralmorphogic. first time ordering from them so anxious to see what they are like. Rics are definitely my favorite. You have some really nice ones, did you get them WYSIWYG or in packs.

You will not be disappointed with them. About half of my rics came from them and 14 last week on that deal they have.....Best rics in the market. In fact they are just as good as the WYSIWYG on thier site.....Couple of the ones I got in the 14 are in my top 5 favorite colors....

awesome tank buddy. you have yumas and rics touching without problem huh? i never had any actually touch yet but i always assumed they would be fine. right?

Thanks still a work in progress......

Yea no issues what so ever since I have collected them, I have always seemed to have rics together....Just seemed like the right thing to do I guess...

Yup exclusively.....I have had such good luck with it I think I will change back to anything. Plus the LFS I deal with uses it so there is less stress in acclimation when I get corals from them....

i have a ton of seachem salt from a bulk order, maybe ill sell it off and get me a few buckets of redsea. i have one bucket now so ill give it a try and see how it goes. a ton of people have told me that when they used redsea they had issues with algae and the algae never went away till the salt was changes. i can believe that because yumas and rics like a constant supply of nitrates, maybe even phosphates and in a tank geared toward sps like mine was, there wasn't much at all because i did not have a speck of algae.

Beautiful rics Azurel. You definitely have a jealousy inspiring collection! ;)

Thank you it is a passion.....Much to the irritation of my wife although she does like them and think they are pretty.....

Adrian I didn't have issues with algae from the salt, I had issue before hand. I think you can have a problem changing with any salt. I would do it slow small changes over time, make sure it is Red Sea Pro and not the regular Red Sea. The pro I have tested from batch to batch and it has been relatively the same in every bucket and water change without having to add any supplements to new water.....Here is my e-mail if you ever want to chat out side of forums....

very nice - what lights do you use and are these directly under it or off to the side, etc?

I have 250w 14k Hamilton SE supplimented with 24w T-5 actinics.....It is off to the side but still under direct/indirect light. They are actually in one of the brightest sections of the tank.....They are at the far end of the flow, my vortech is located about 2'' below the water line(right side) that pumps to the leftside and comes back and flows up the valley back to the vortech. They are in quite a bit of flow nothing real hard but enough that if they were not glued down they would get picked up by the flow.....I used to have them in real low flow and didn't get the expansion I do now. Hope that answers your questions....

I need toget a few more pics the other day the rics were so full and open there was very little rock showing thru between the polyps it looked really good.

The orange one with the slate grey center Adrian? I have a couple like that.....

Thanks Casy I appreciate it.....
