You only have a couple of choices. Aquarium Imports in Hoover and Aquarium Designs. I don't know if Aquarium Designs is still open, there seems to be some debate as to wether it has closed or not. I know the last time I tried to go there on a Saturday, a couple of weeks ago, it was not open.
Auarium Imports in Hoover is pretty much were I do all my buisness, Steve and Steve are good guys and they seem to have a decent variety of fish and corals, and they carry a good selection of dry goods. I think the name of the shopping center is Hoover Court, it is in hte back and not visible from Hwy 31. It is just south of the new Publix.
I was in Petco out on Hwy. 280 the other day and they had a few fish but not much else.
If you are interested, we are having a Central Alabama Reef Club meeting at my place this coming Sunday, the 24th @2:00 and you are more than welcome to attend. It is very informal, no dues or anything. Just a group of people getting together to discuss our tanks and to eat. There is a thread for the May meeting on this forum, it has directions.
