B Ionic 2 part

Hi there, wanted to know who out there does the 2 part B Ionic. I dose the Alkalinity and Calcium 2 part. Seems to help my growth alot. Let me know what you dose and results.

I dose "2 part" but mix my own. WAY WAY cheaper. Set mine up on dosing pump to make everything super easy and way more stable.

how do you do that? looking at some dosing pumps but not quite sure how to set them up.

I'll cite BRS stuff but there are other options out there. This should get you on the right path. Lots of people use BRS.

everything you need to get started. Bulk materials for alk/Ca/Mg. Also has Drew Dosing pumps (what I'm using now). Those dosing pumps are on when they get power. I use my Apex controller to turn them on for an amount of time I want (they dose about 1.5mL/minute iirc). People have also used these on mechanical timers, bt I've had timers fail on the on and off position. Bad news if you ask me.

You can also dose with something like a bubble magus which has built in timers

I've used supplies from BRS, but I've also used stuff like Epsom salt for Mg, Leslie's Pool supply Hardness Plus for Ca, and Arm and Hammer baking soda for Alk.

I used to dose two part seachem (complete and carbonate) for the first year or so but then switched to just putting Kalk in my makeup water and using an auto top off system. Much simpler. I'm guessing that it will prove insufficient once I really get a full load of coral but it works well for now.
