Baby Fish in My Tank?

So I just noticed a bunch of small "fish" in the refugium of my coral prop system. It's several tanks strung together with an uphill refugium - about 400 gallons total. I do have 2 ocellaris clowns in one of the tanks - have shown no signs of pairing up, let alone breeding. Or....maybe I just don't know the signs. These little critters look and move just like little fish - my guess would be about 10-day-old larvae? Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks

Try taking em out and putting them in a separate tank, if you don't, the filter will suck them up and kill them.

The tank should have a air stone and a normal 15W strip light. Feed rotifers, and baby brine

If they are ocellaris by day 12 or so Metamorphosis starts you will see they start getting their stripes, IF THEY SURVIVE.

I am pretty sure that you would notice the eggs, it is pretty hard to miss.

IMO, what you are most likely seeing is mysid(s) shrimp. They are common in our tanks, and their "swimming" action can make them look like "baby" fish.

+1 Could be too!

Yeah, I thought it could be some kind of "pod," but I've just never seen anything look or move like this in my tanks. I'll keep you posted on any "developments." Not sure I could successfully take a picture of the little things...Thanks
