I have not had a tank since '02 and swore I was done. Until my buddy calls me and one his coworkers had one to sell. 72 gallon bow front tank and stand and all accesories. So that interested me, long story short 350$ come and get it. Came with a remora pro skimmer, 100 pd. sand, 70 pd live rock, 2 eheim pro filters, and tons of stuff, so I broke down and got it. Got it all set up and running just letting get established before I start adding.
Question, do I need to run the eheim filter, I always heard they were nitrate factories. If I do not want to go sump/refugium route at this point, what type of filter if any would you recommend? Can I get away with skimmer only? Thanks, and I am glad to be back!!!
