Can you explain how the bacteria lives in a bucket of dry salt? Very new to allot of us. Thanks guys

Never mind, found my answer. The bacteria is in lyophilized form within the salt and is activated with the addition of water.

So is this the same bacteria that's in Pro Bio S? Is it just a redundant way to add to the system? I'm about ready to use the probiotic reef salt but not really sure what the advantage is over non-probiotic.

Unsure on different strain, but if I had to guess I would say yes. The salt also contains vitamins and aminos.

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt contains Probiotic bacteria, culture medium for them, amino acids and vitamins.
But different one than You can find in bottles.
