If I have a workhorse 5 ballast (can run up to 110W of lighting I think, something like that), is it possible to run smaller bulbs on it? Standard use for the wh5's are 96W bulbs I think. So I was thinking of running a 65W on it or something. Also would it be alright to wire it to 2 endcaps and run 2x65W, or 2x32W?
Would the same apply to any ballast? I have a nice retro with everything enclosed and I would rather not open it up to try to find the make/model. But would it be alright to run 2x65 on it instead of 2x96? Thanks in advance.
