I have a dual 250 ballast that one of the line outs has gone bad... I have the RMA from the manufacture but it is going to take 2+ weeks to get the replacement... I am looking for a nice soul that would let me borrow a spare ballast for a week or so... I dont have any back up lighting and am scared to death of letting my tank go 10+ days without light and losing all my corals... I am in the Indianapolis area and am in desperate situation... I would take anything to keep light in my tank while the ballast is being replace... 48 PC... a spare ballast... even a single 250 that i would alternate days on which side of my tank is lit... PLEASE HELP ME... I dont have the cash to go and get anything for temp use... ANY advice or help would be greatly greatly appreciated.. Thanks again fellow reefer Nick Stewart

THANKS TO OUR AWSOME LFS UNCLES BILLS THEY HOOKED ME UP WITH A TEMP LIGHTING SYSTEM TO BORROW..... ANOTHER REASON THEY ARE A GREAT PLACE

How did you manage that one? Did you get the ballast from them to begin with? That is awesome that the let you barrow there ballast. I have a 36 inch t5 not sure the watts I think its a 4 bulb fixture you could barrow or a 48inch pc 130 watt. let me know if you still need to barrow the lights. And some one correct me if I am wrong but I think that the coral would be fine for 10 days with out light. I would think that you would still have to acclimate the coral any way.

Thank you so much for the offer... they had a returned PC 48in 4 bulb unit that had a bad moon light in it which I have a moon strip anyway... that they were waiting to send back... called them up I am in there about 1 2 times a week... said I could borrow it untill I get my ballast back... They won me over big time with that... but thank you again for the offer.... I knew my fellow reefers would save the day
