Bangaii Breeding question

Quick question. I have a pair of known breeders, when I traded for them the male was actually holding eggs and for the first time held to "term" or around 26 days. I got about 14 eggs, 8 that survived the first day and they all eventually died unexpectantly around 40 days. I assume this was because I wasnt enriching their BBS enough( I only did it every other day). That part I am ok with and will learn from. What I am curious about is how long does it take for the parents to have another batch. Is this effected by temp? I assumed with them being moved and in a new setup it would take awhile but its been well over 2 months now with no spawn. They are eating like crazy and plump as can be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've heard they can be holding almost right away, was just concerned that something I was doing was wrong since its been well over 2 months now.

someone will chime in with more knowledge, but a few questions...

what is your water temp at?

You should enrich the bbs before feeding, i neglected to do this to the first few clutches and lost a lot of them... learned that lesson quickly.

The temp is pretty much constant 78. I just reset my Ranco closer to 80 though. They live in a 20 long with a bonded pair of black O's. Its tied into my main system, about 200 total gallons. I did enrich the BBS before feeding, just only did it every other days feedings. Like I said, live and learn. I also think I waited too long to try to wean to frozen foods and will try this earlier next time ( If and when)
