Bangaii Eggs help required!

Hello :) So last December my Bangaii pair spawned for the first time though after 6 days, the male decided to eat the eggs :o[
Now they spawned again and I need to decide if i am going to take them from him on the 6th day or chance my luck and see if he keeps them.
On the first spawn, i kept feeding my female on a daily basis and maybe this was tempting for him?
Also 2 eggs remained attached to the female for a while before falling to the sand bed, i collected these and placed them in suspension (see link)... should i be dosing something to protect these?

Thanks alot :)

Hmm... Inexperienced males eat their eggs a lot. I wouldn't worry about it for a while, but if he keeps doing it I would pull them early :)

hello :) My male swallowed the eggs after 1 day only :( so i will have to wait for the next spawn! also the 2 eggs which i had in suspesion also disolved on their own... i think they wer not good in the first place.
Thanks :)

Young males will usually swallow their eggs 2-3 times before they figure out they need to eat a lot before he starts holding eggs full term anywhere between 20-24 days... So if you expect the male to hold the eggs full term, I suggest you start to feed two-three times a day so the male can have a little weight to live off while he is holding the eggs.

HTH....... :)
