Bangaii questions

I have a pair of bangaii, in my 180 display tank. Have you actually seen the eggs being transferred from the female to the male, do they do this at night ? Does the male reduce or stop feeding when he has the eggs? Can you readily notice or see the eggs when the male is incubating them or only when the babies are hatched ? Thanks

I watch on my daily feedings and know that if he is not eating then he is holding. Right away you may notice his mouth bulging.

You will also notice the male will be more "secretive" and hide more. The female will be more protective also and stay close to him.
