Banggai Cardinalfish Breeding Questions

My banggai pair recently produced eggs. I moved the male to the birthing tank and he is now slowly (about 1 per 2-3 hours) spitting out white eggs.

Ive read that the eggs bundle is attached and individual eggs should not be able to fall. Does this mean the eggs being spit are not viable?

Your correct, the eggs won't be viable.

At least you'll have another chance to raise some soon

Was it easy for you to remove the male for the DT? If so, the next time when you fish lay eggs leave them there until you see the male mouth fat and you would really see the babies in his mouth, then you can remove him out. By that time the baby can be on it own.
