So i woke up this moring go to my tank where i have 4 banggaii cardinaals i dump the food in 3 of them attack it but the 4th one is in the back not eating what does this mean?
same thing happened to me. I think you are about to be a proud owner of baby cardinals in about 21 days. I got 5 cardinals and 2 weeks later the male was carrying. After 3 weeks or so the males mouth will get very bulged and if you look closely you will be able to see the babies swimming in his mouth the time for release is close. Mine held for over 4 weeks so if takes longer dont worry. Sometimes the male doesnt hold them on the 1st time, and it takes several cycles till he gets it down. Just keep doing what you have been and let them do their thing.
With a little preparation you can raise them easily. I raised mine in my fuge, or the sump will work. They need several feedings of baby brine shrimp a day when they are first released, so unless you have a small DT w/o many other adult fish, best to move the babies into a separate fuge/sump where you can target feed them easily. After 3 weeks or so they will start eating frozen.
