Bare bottom tank MP placment help?

So I have a 5' 180 gallon custom built tank. I have one MP 60 and one MP 40. I seem to still get much more collecting on the bottom and under the rocks than I would like.

I have these across from each other using the Apex module to run them. They are currently above the half way mark on the tank. Just wonder since its bare bottom should they be moved down some to help keep things stirred up or what?

I would have thought with one of each I would of had more than enough flow to keep the bottom clean but does not seem to be the case.

I would start with lowered them more. Maybe about 1/2 of what's left. See how the works for you.

I thought I would provide a measurement.

Tank is 29" tall and the MP 60 is at 10.5" from top of the tank center of the MP.

Update I have moved both of them down to the exact center on each side. This has the MP60 kinda blasting the live rock that is close to it...guess I will have to be selective about corals placed in that area.

Good thing is this is still a rather new build tank start date was Sep. 1 of 2014 so not a lot of corals in the tank as of right now.

Will see if this helps improve the removal of gunk collecting on the bottom.
