so the barnacle/sea fan is taking over the trumpet coral head

how do you remedy this without killing the trumpet?

I have one in mine and my trumpet is winning

They have been living together for a few months now. I am not sure how to get rid of the barnacle. I kinda like mine

It is my experience that barnacles will starve after a few months. In any case I doubt they will propagate. If you really want to get rid of them, I expect you could treat them like Aiptasia.

IMO leave it be..
I've had many corals with barnacles on them and never has it caused a problem...
The barnacles have always lived peacefully right along side the coral and I've never had them starve out either..

Let nature do nature..

It is not a big deal for me. Do barnacles spread or grow bigger, my only concern.
