I would like to know how to keep a Crinoid alive and thriving In an aquarium. I would love to hear advice from people who have experiences with them. Both positive and negative experiences will be helpful.

What are you feeding them?
How often?
How are you feeding them? Auto/hand?
Any issues that arised?
Any other info would be much appreciated.

Thank You

feed them everything that is small. Mine love Fauna Marin foods and Cyclopeeze. I feed auto and the only thing that seems to straight up kill them fast is Nitrates above 15ppm. I have lost several when I used to get spikes up to 20 ppm even if it was for only one day.

I think a sudden change in any parameter is what kills them, not necessarily a high nitrate level in itself. A sudden drop can kill them too. My nitrates are 25+ continuously and I've had it for a couple years :0 They seem very sensitive to temperature changes.
