bat starfish

what can anyone tell me about the bat starfish?

there is a type of starfish called a bat star on some of the beaches were i live and im on the west coast of canada so i think there a cold water species,and probably wouldnt do well in a tropical tank.

They're cold water and eat all sorts of sessile inverts.
