Batteries draining on 580 EX ii

I went down and grabbed the package out of our mail area since you're saying they are better batteries than the Eneloops.

If you could explain to me why, it would save me from sending them back although since they are already boxed up and labeled it isnt a real big pain.

I'd rather just order the LaCrosse charger for them though, rather than send them back and get the Eneloops.

Well I got the LaCrosse charger in last night and two packs of Eneloops.

The LaCrosse came with some nice batteries and guess what? One of them is dead, it came shipped that way. I can move it around between the 4 charging spots and it just says "null".

I'm having bad luck with batteries lately.

I wonder if Amazon will just ship me one battery instead of having to replace the whole charger and batteries. If they wont, I think I'll just forget about it, it's not even worth driving to the post office over one stupid battery
