Beach trip!!!!!

Headed out to the jetties at PCB. Maybe I will find something for the tank.

We came across some sand dollars not far out from the PCB beach. I wondered if I could add some of those, but decided against it at the last minute. I wanted to research it first. Haven't done that yet.....

To my understanding they wont survive in a tank. If you are in PCB go to the big bridge that goes into town. There is a place there to fish, I have picked up red star fish and urchints there.

I thought florida didn't allow collecting?

You can collect certain species with a florida saltwater fishing license. Take a look at this web site. We caught a couple of angels, damsels and a few other creatures.

I will post pics later this week. Oh, scubalauren some well intentioned friends brought me some live sand dollars a couple of years ago, but they all died within 6 months.

That's what I was afraid of. Can't wait to see your pictures. Did you catch one of the mystery angels we were trying to figure out?

No they were to fast, but I did catch a gray angle fish that has a blue line on its fins. Some kids put a crab that I cant identify, it looks like an underwater spider.
