Beginner sea horse?

No such thing as a "beginner" seahorse in my opinion!

They require very stable tank condtions & a watchful eye, as long as you do your reasearch & planning, you should be fine! If you really wanted seahorses for a 10 gallon, you could do dwarfs.

You would have to hatch BBS daily though, it is about the only draw back to those cute little buggers.

Do some reading, and & try to buy the CB dwarfs from a reputable online source. They do have WC ones from florida, but in my opinion it is always best to buy something raised in someone's tank!!

Seahorses are awesome, & if you decide to go with them, you won't regret it! You will start up an even bigger tank! lol!

Good luck & if you have any questions, feel free to pm me! =) Heather

(BTW, to have "full size" seahorses, you really should have a tank minimum of optimally 30 gallons!) =)
