Has anyone ever tried these to get rid of Aiptasia?? I have read that the Berghia Nudibranch is reef safe but wanted to hear some personal experiences!

Thanks!!

Didn't work for me. After the failed attempt went with Peppermint shrimp which are much cheaper. Originally didn't go with them because I read they picked at corals but they were fine after the aptasia was gone

Peppermint shrimp didn't work for me. I tried Aiptasia X but they just keep coming back week after week. Im thinking of trying a nudibranch also.

The only reason why I was thinking something other then the peppermint shrimp was because of my wrasses, I didn't think they would make it. I also heard that they pick at corals once there is no more aiptasia to pick on . . .The nudibranches are very hard to come by and the people that have them are very expensive but I heard they are well worth the money.

good to know . . . I am willing to try both . . .I have a large Melanarus Wrasse and Leopard Wrasse and was thinking they would go after the peppermints and a small blue throat trigger . . .What do you think?

Tony , looking forward to meeting you on Monday!!

I would suggest adding the peppermint shrimp after lights out so your fish don't kill them, mine never come out in the daytime, I'll go a month or two without seeing any. Can only spotlight them at night so if u have enough rock work you should be fine with aggressive fish.

peppermint shrimp worked for me, I bought 10 of them for my 120 gallon , no interests shown for the first month or two, then one day I woke up and noticed the Aiptasia are start disappearing, eventually all gone.
