I live in So Cal and need some Berghia Nudibranches for an aiptasia problem that I'm having. I've researched and have read the pros and cons inusing peppermint shrimp, copperband butterflys and Joe's Juice. I'll try the juice for starters, but would like to try the Berghias for a long term solution. I hate paying the high prices and high shipping costs from the dealers that I found on the east coast. Is there anyone in the So Cal area that has some Berghias they would be willing to sell to me?

From my expierence with Bergis stick with a Copperbanded and/or Peppermint Shrimp. I had a HUGE problem with Aptasia for over a year, Im talking hundreds and hundreds of Aptasia. Bought 20 Bergis waited 6 months and saw no changes or reduction what so ever. Bought 4 Peppermints and 1 Copperbanded and one month later all Aptasia were gone. This was all in my 300 gallon with about 250 lbs of live rock. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for your input. I might end up using Peppermints, but I figured if I could pick up a few Berghias, cheap, I would give it a try. I've heard too many stories about Copperbands taking bites out of clam mantles or soft corals to take the chance on one. Sounds like you lucked out with the one you got.
