Berghia nudibranches

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting some Berghia nudibranches to take care of some Aptasia anemones in my tank.

Will the Berghias eat other types of anemones? I have a Bubble Tip in the same tank.

Thanks,
Mikchabe

No, they eat ONLY aiptasia. No down sides. Placing them in your tank is tricky as they tend to blow around. When I used them, I got a test tube, placed them inside, then put the tube in the aquarium so they could crawl out. Put the tube in an area of low flow.

they work well. But it is not a quick fix. All of a sudden, my aiptasia population went to zero, but it was perhaps a couple of months. You will only see the nudibranchs when they are hunting which means you will rarely see them.
