Best auto top off?

How do I make it smaller. Tank is up and running. Are you able to open the unit and adjust for. time. I mean it's great most times. Just annoying when I add fish and take water out most times it runs smooth. Or when I lose power

It's probably not the best one out there, but I've been using an Ultralife Float Switch for about 15 years now without any problems. I have it on a timer too, so every 6 hours or so the tank will be topped off. Works like a charm.

I use an eshopps auto top off float valve and a toms aqualifter pump. Its been pretty relialble foe years. Just nees a cleaning in the float valve once in a great while. Can get this for under 50 bucks with silicone hose. Got mine off amazon.

I use an Avast Marine Works top off and it has been great. I had a DIY before that.

+1 for the avast ato. Nice pressure switch and they give you an option for those with Apex.
