Best detritus eating

what do you guys think is the best detritus eater. Larger the better.

My sump and even sandbed get detritus build up. Im trying to use the sump compartment. See if there's some efficient cleaner out there.

Sump size about 200gal total

I already have armies of snails.

Anyone have luck with some sand sifting starfish?
Multiple sandsifting gobies in sump?
Multiple large damsels in sump?

Hmm.. ive tossed cucumbers in tank but rarely see them.. do they work well without sand? Sump is bare bottom

Naw. I thought it was a fuge

Maybe shop vac it out every now and then or do what schnitzel did and put a extra flow in there to keep it suspended.

From my experience cucumbers will only eat around the area they make "home"

food detritus > fish detritus > coral detritus > detritus i can't see so it's clean!
