Based on your experiences with dried food pellets or flakes, Which brand works great for your fish in terms of color and health. I have a Pygmy Angel, Clownfish, And Damsels. I used the Nutrafin MAx morsels and want to try other dry foods. thank you

Thank you. I was considering the cyclop-eeze, does it keep your fish and coral happy?

I target feed my Cup Corals and a stunning neon green LPS with Cyclop-eeze and they go nuts for it as do the other filter feeders like some feather duster worms I have in my sand.

Dry food is convenient but most is high in phosphate which is one of the prime contributors toward algae issues. Doesn't matter whether you fish eat all the food .. the phosphate comes out in the poop. You might consider frozen food (thawed and well rinsed) as an alternative ... not as convenient but will help hold off algae issues and is arguably better for the fish.

Agree totally on the frozen cubes (rinsed) -- we feed a variety of cubes, mysis and cyclopeeze every evening soaked in selcon first. Tank is thriving....

We had a fish biologist recommend this type of feeding -- they are guarenteed to get the nutrition they need that way.... Seems to be spot-on.

I've been reading labels...Omega One seems to me to be the best of the 'stock' brands...easily availalble...

But with my FW fish I feed frozen as well...was expecting to do something similar with the SW...dry and frozen ...

I would think if your feeding your fish / tank five different kinds of flake & frozen foods, ten would be better.

The more variety the better.

I do have the frozen cubes, Krill, Mysis, brine Shrimp and the formula One cube. I also soak it on Selcon once in a while. Which one is the most beneficial in terms of fish health? The reason that I want to try the dry foods is for the automatic feeder when I'm gone on the weekends and also want to alternate it with the frozen every other day. It seems that the Spectrum Thera A and the cyclop-eeze will be a great choice.

Frozen cyclopeeze would be (is) my choice as far as that food goes. The dry isn't nearly as good nor does it seem to stimulate as much as a feeding response.
