I have ordered an Aussi Elegance Coral and am curious what others would recommend in terms of acclimating it to my tank?
I typically temperature float for 15min, then drip acclimate for ~2hrs followed by an iodine dip and finally placing in the display aquarium.
I have one 250w 14k de phoenix on a luminarc mini reflector powered by an icecap eBallast set in the middle of a 3' 55 gal aquarium. I indended to place the elegance in the front corner of the aquarium where it doesn't get *direct* light, and gradually increase the photoperiod from 2hrs to 8hrs over a couple of weeks.
Suggestions otherwise or would this be optimal?
