Best foods to feed LTA and tube anemone

want to know what the best things are to feed my lta and tube. The lta is pretty bleached and tube is starting to be not as bright.

Table shrimp, frozen krill, silversides all will work. Your anemones are established in the tank and are bleaching? It may be more than just food, I'd check your water parameters and the age of your bulbs in your lights.

bulbs are new. the lta had been under my rockwork for awhile so not sure how well it was eattng and it wasn't getting much light, it was hard to see how much food it was getting. now it is easier to get to so hoping if i feed it everyday it will start looking better.
Here is a pic of them both. I moved the tube anemone after this pic so that they weren't right by each other. The tube anemone looks alittle more orange and lta looks alittle darker brown but both are not as colorful as they should be. I have probably not been feeding them well enough.

well, part of the problem...

TUBE anemones are filter feeders-mysis shrimp or smaller. Feeding them bigger pieces is not healthy or helpfull, and if they are actually taking that in, it means they are starving. They are also non-photosynthetic, so you need to feed them at least 3x a week.

I had one, a few years ago, and I want another. REALLY neat critters, so pretty. I'd move it under a ledge and start direct feeding it mysis from a turkey baster, like 4 pieces 3-4 times a week until its healthy, then 2-3 times a week thereafter. MAYBE more, since it IS a filter feeder.

and no, they don't eat fish. Unless they are EXTREMELY starving, and even then they don't have the parts to digest it.
