best Lfs for a cuc

I think i would have to say Aquaworld, and Wet Pets depending on where you are coming from.

Last time I made my rounds seahorse was limited at best, aquaworld was OK but turbos you might as well bend over i think they are 8.99 each. Wet Pets has some bulk deals a lot of times. like 10 for 15$ when they are in stock

Brian,

Don't be so hard on yourself.....you're not a kook!!! :wildone:

You just can't spell very well....it's kook not cuc. :worried:

yeah there are a few decent places. If you are looking for something small i would use Drsfoster if you order 60$ worth you get free shipping on the build your own. I have done that twice.

If you are going to go with a big order
reeftopia.com is the most frequent place i have ordered from.

At the moment i dont need anything.

Does this count as 3 agreements in 1 day? :)

It could.

WHATS UR BEEF MAN!

I think drsfosters is good for one off clean up crews. Reeftopia has been good to me in the past two times..

So, was looking on reeftopia and their reef care special number 2 seems to be a good deal... well a great deal if locally turbos are 9 bucks a piece!!

Its about 2-3 times what I need in tank right now but its 150 bucks, If theres one or two people that would maybe want to go in on it let me know and we can order it and split it up.

right.

Now the one thing to notice with reeftopia is IF there are dead critters on arrival you will only get a store credit.

And you must spend the minimum to get free shipping. which can be a pain

In my experience, the biggest problem is turbos is that they manage to bulldoze corals off your rockwork. Maybe somebody can chime in here with their experiences with turbos since I'm just one person.

I'm with AHD with Dr. Foster and Smith. In general, they are a very good business because they've been in business for so long with such great feedback. I did a group buy one time with Reef2go a while ago, and while their livestock was generally pretty small, their prices were very low.

Yeah I only have the Actual Turbos in one of my back tanks. They BULLDOZE everything. Its a daily task to pickup after them.

The turbos that reeftopia has are not the actualy large turbo i think they are the astreas labeled turbo.

I ordered my cleanup crew from Reefs2go.com Awesome prices and they sent me nice stuff. Snails start at .16 I believe.

Oh and if you order any conchs they are huge! I ordered one from BZ that was as big as my thumb. Then I ordered 3 more from Reefs2go and they are all fist sized! Their emerald crabs were also huge. I highly recommend them.

If you don't have your stuff secured to the rocks the turbo will definitely knock them off. I got two huge turbo snails and they will tilt my frag rack when they come up from the bottom .

Snails and corals

Snails and corals

Seahorse currently has a special on turbo and margarita snails. I got 6 Margarita for $15. There were prices for higher quantities also. They are also getting a shipment of corals today (Saturday)
