BEST LFS In Broward & Palm Beach

Professional Fish Keepers always seemed to me to have healthy fish and a huge selection. Aquarium King has great prices and good selection but I doubt anyone does a true quarantine, it's just not feasible for the average LFS.

Elite marine in pompano does a complete quarentine, only place I buy my fish.they will even qt a fish from another store for a fee..did it with my yellow belly hippo purchased from PFK

if by healthy you mean multiple dead fish in small containers sure.

overpriced as well. I won't be going back to PFK.

blue seas aquariums and hydra aquatics are two good ones I've found.

I always recommend against PFK when people ask. I've had bad experiences with fish there.

Blue seas is fine, but fish selection is small and not always in the best health.

Hydra does QT their fish with medication for 2 weeks I think. I will buy their fish in QT and they let me know when it's ready and I'll go pick it up. If a fish doesn't make it out of QT they will give me credit or replace it. It's very convenient. I haven't yet lost a fish that came out of their QT.

Aquarium King does have a QT system in the back of the store, I went back there and they will let you buy out of it if you ask. I don't know how long they QT back there for, they get shipments pretty often so I can't imagine they are QT'd for very long.

Exotic Aquatic has good variety for fish, but I would never put a fish from there straight into my system. I QT everything anyway, but when I get fish here it definitely gets TTM + prazi + observation. Every time I go there I either see a dead fish or multiple fish with ich in the tanks.

Beverlys has a decent selection, never gotten a fish there but I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Petworld on broward blvd, smaller selection than beverly and not as clean.

exotic aquatic was the first store I ever bought a fish from. I had inherited a 90 gallon tank from a friend, it was running for about 6 months before I decided to add tiger goby. I got ich and lost 80% of the fish. I now QT...

blue seas definitely has way more coral then fish, I buy fish from hydra and corals from blue seas.
