Best live sand out there? opinion

I purchased a 135g used with "live sand" and some rock (not enough). Anyway, my issue right now is the sand. Although I've had the system up and running and making improvements for about 2 months, I don't care for the sand much. Years ago I was into reef keeping, but have since forgotten all that I had learned.

This sand seems junky to me. It is light weight and blows around easily. It is very white too, I don't remember my last sand being so white (I know there are options). Over the next couple of months I plan on making some huge changes and then some serious additions to the tank. Durring this process, I figured if I'm going to change the sand or add to it, at the point when I move the tank would be ideal, so I better start researching now. There are all kinds of "live sand" available from various online sources, but who's to say what is the best. I suppose it depends on individual taste.

What I'm looking for is something somewhat course that will not shift around so much or fly up with ease and cause the rock to look 'dirty' from being so light weight. However, I still want something that is going to be easy for sand dwellers to utilize, from the microscopic on up. I'd also like to introduce life as well as support it. So I am looking for "live" sand.

Any thoughts?

Probably a little too coarse, but tbsaltwater pulls sand out of the gulf. I like it..it's pretty much crushed shells.

Look at my tank and pics...I got a fish and now found about 4 baby brittle stars in my sand.
