Best living hitching posts?

I like caulerpa prolifera but requires maintenance with trimming and if not watched can go sexual though I haven't had that happen.

So if you don't like those possibilities, I really like codium but doesn't pull out as much bad nutrients that the prolifera does. I also like Halmedia.

I favor macro algaes as they provide help for a natural helpfor copepod and amphipod and other fauna populations.
 
I too like macro algae but my seahorses love a corky finger gorgonian that I have. Its a very sturdy gorg that is photosythetic and does not require any feeding. It has fairly long polyps for a gorg and is pleasing to look at.
