best looking zoa?

Oh, it's really up to you...
Many can come here and say what they like, but it comes down to your taste and budget.
Hope this thread doesn't turn into a cartoon name price tagged line.

Grandis.

Im looking for a zoa that is a complete stunner and has crazy looking colors or just the best looking one in your opinion.

Personally, I think they are all stunners. In and with the proper lighting, wattage, ballast and spectrum, you can make a dookey green frag/polyp/colony look like the Hope Diamond. My only advice to you is to not get caught up in the hype and lies or rarity, sky high prices, Limited Edition and the "New to the hobby just discovered and I am the only guy who has them", titles you will see everywhere. I would buy a $ 30 small colony of 15 to 20 polyps and completely avoid the per polyps frags and tiny colonies.

As A. Grandis said, just run away from these cartoon names.

Good luck my friend.

Not into names either but I would go old school with eagle eyes or tubbs blue.

Yes that is right, a polyp that has stood the test of time, is cheap, and stands out from across the room. If this is your first or 10th one either work.

But as said before it is up to you because though some of the hot morphs that are must haves don't impress me very much though I still find them beautiful.

Have to agree.. I have a couple of local guys that sell frags 'by the polyp' and some of their prices are ridiculous... especially for the more colorful corals..

That being said... I myself have an 8g nano.. and plan to buy only tiny little frags, and let them grow into a reef for me.. if I am capable of providing the right environment..

Luckily for me.. I have a nearby reputable reef store that routinely has tiny frags of all kinds for sale for 5 bucks.. They usually look pretty rough.. but I have taken to 'rescuing' these little frags.. and so far it has been working out well..

One such frag was this little guy.. Who I happen to think is a stunner..

I agree re fruit loops, tubb's blues, and eagle eye. I'd add Jokers, Armor of God (AoG), and radioactive dragon eyes. AoGs and Jokers can be pricy, but dragon eyes are typically very inexpensive. I have nice colonies of all three that are visually stunning, even under simple moon light LEDs.

What about these??? Do you know the names?? I have been looking all over Southern California. I even put them right next to goblinsfire zoas and these are not it!

They have green Dots in the middle with a yellow pastel plate and orange and I mean bright orange Skirts.

hey, justbecause do you know the names of the zoas to the right of the green ones in this picture? thanks matthew
